Showing up without a reservation, I rather luckily managed to obtain the very last spot on the MV E.L. Bartlett, the Alaska State ferry boat crossing Prince William Sound headed from Valdez to Whittier. On arriving at Whittier, there was such an overriding feeling of love expressed when the ferry slid past the kittiwake rookery and this Passage Canal waterfall I had to try to show it with a photograph. While that would be quite an impossible feat, I have always liked what I was able to capture on film.
